Thieves are less likely to target your vehicle if they can be seen easily and will draw attention to themselves.

Thieves are more likely to try to steal cars close to parking lot or garage exits, simply because they will have a faster getaway. Try parking in the middle of a row of cars in a heavily trafficked area of the lot or garage.
