The all-new 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL has a variety of engine options for drivers to choose from. The standard 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine comes with 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. A new turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine gives you best-in-class 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, and has a hybrid option as well. The third engine option for the Wrangler JL will be available in 2019 and features a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine that is estimated to reach 262 horsepower and a whopping 442 pound-feet of torque.
While the general look of the Wrangler JL remains classic, the Wrangler JL features a wider stance and the front grille has been swept back to increase aerodynamic efficiency. LED headlamps, LED forward turn signals and LED taillamps are all available on the JL, as well as three top options. The newest option is a powered soft top, called the Sky One-Touch powertop. This top can be retracted with the push of a button and will be available mid to late 2018. The second top option is a new convertible top, known as the Sunrider, and the classic hardtop rounds out the options for you to choose from.
The Wrangler JL features the Uconnect® 5.0 system as a standard option, which includes a 5-inch touchscreen. Drivers can choose to upgrade this system to Uconnect® 8.4 with navigation, or the next-generation Uconnect® 4 system, which features Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility on a 7-inch touchscreen. Safety features include multi-stage advanced airbags, traction control, stability control, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path detection, ParkView Rear Back-Up Camera and more.
