So, why the pairing of country singer Miranda Lambert and Ram trucks? According to Robert Hegbloom, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Ram Brand, FCA here in North America, “Miranda Lambert is a perfect partner for Ram […] She’s been around trucks her entire life, from being born on a farm to owning a ranch now, and she lives her life by her own rules just like so many of our Ram truck owners.” He then sites some common values such as “hard working, determined, goal-oriented, and tough.” We couldn’t agree more.
How about from Ms. Lambert herself? According to the singer, “I am very inspired by what the Ram brand stands for — being who you are, working hard, staying true to your roots.” Well-said!
And so it came about that Lambert wrote the song you’ll see at the bottom of the post, called Roots and Wings. It’s about remembering and being grateful for where you came from.
