The Wrangler can climb some of the toughest terrain on Earth. Testing for traction control includes testing the Wrangler on untamed, slippery roads such as those coverd with rain, mud or snow and on steep grades.
4×4 Systems
The Wrangler has two 4×4 systems for you to choose from. Command-Trac® delivers equal power to all four corners of the vehicle, while Rock-Trac® offers best-in-class off-road performance with a 4:1 low-gear ratio that lets you crawl at a lower speed with a greater increase in torque at the wheels.
Control
Hill Descent Control helps you monitor throttle, speed and braking when you are traveling downhill. Hill Start Assist keeps your brakes applied for a short time after you’ve removed your foot to give you time to accelerate without rolling backwards.
