2018 Jeep Renegade Performance Capability
The Jeep Renegade is equipped with a standard 1.4-liter MultiAir® Turbocharged engine. Drivers can also choose to upgrade to a 2.4-liter Tigershark® MultiAir 2 engine. Each of these engines provides drivers with incredible performance and efficiency. Every Renegade comes available with the Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System that allows you to change your traction control settings to match your terrain. There are four settings for drivers to choose from: Auto, Snow, Sand, and Mud. Each one is tailored to reach optimum traction and operation.
The Renegade has Jeep Active Drive and Jeep Active Drive Low 4×4 available. These systems feature a rear axle disconnect that seamlessly switches between two- and four-wheel drive to increase your efficiency when you need it. Hill Start Assist comes standard to help avoid rolling backward on steep inclines.
2018 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk Performance Features
The Jeep Renegade Trailhawk® trim adds additional performance features to make a truly impressive off-road vehicle. The Renegade Trailhawk® is Trail Rated® meaning it has been tested in a variety of conditions to guarantee high-quality performance. The Trailhawk® trim adds an additional Rock setting on the Selec-Terrain Traction Management System, has a 20:1 crawl ratio, and comes standard with Hill Descent Control which monitors throttle, speed, and braking when you are going downhill.
